About The Falls
My name is James P. Fitzsimmons. I live on Grand Island, NY, which sits in the Niagara River about ten minutes from the Falls. By day I drive for Uber. By night I run this site.

That's not a joke. It's just how passion projects work.

The Falls started because I got tired of search results for "things to do in Niagara Falls" returning the same recycled list of obvious attractions dressed up in stock photos. Niagara Falls is one of the most visited places on the planet and somehow most of what's written about it reads like it was produced by someone who has never been within 500 miles of it.

I have. A lot. Some days, multiple times a day.

The goal here is simple: honest, useful information about Niagara Falls from someone who actually lives next to it. No fluff, no paid placements disguised as recommendations, no stock photos of the falls you've already seen a thousand times. Just what's worth your time and money when you get here — and what isn't.

If you find it useful, tell a friend. If you find something wrong, drop me a line.
